Anders Sagadin & Anders Rudlang joining Advisory Board of POWRtec (OTCBB: POWT.OB)

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN, February 7, 2011 - The Management AB and CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA - POWRtec (OTCBB: POWT.OB), an innovative California-based energy monitoring company, is pleased to announce the formation of a Nordic Advisory Board. The purpose of the board will be to guide POWRtec in further exploiting the smart grid market in the Nordic countries. The first members are Anders Sagadin of Sweden and Anders Rudlang of Norway and both have extensive experience in the energy business in northern Europe.

An avant garde in the distribution of smart metering systems, the Nordic region demands particular attention. In Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark, a major roll-out of smart meters is expected by 2014.

POWRtec is already well represented in the region through its agreement with the major Danish utility company DONG Energy to deliver 206,000 smart meters. With the formation of the Nordic Advisory Board, POWRtec further strengthens its position in a key market.
